Makeover of the Month: Cheyenne Marquez

Makeover of the Month: Cheyenne Marquez

Cheyenne Marquez is the stuff that heroes are made up. Cheyenne is former military and still performs her reserve duty every year despite working full-time as a nurse midwife at Parkland Hospital. On top of that, she is a mother of five who never puts herself first and yet, never complains. Her 5 year-old daughter, who was born with numerous medical problems, was put in hospice a few weeks ago.  As she is consumed with medical bills, there isn’t any money for hair or makeup or any extras. Cheyenne’s friend Lacey asked the good people at Cloud 9 to please consider her for this makeover and they gladly accepted. As stylist Amanda said, it didn’t take much to bring out how gorgeous she was!

Hair by Amanda Baires
Amanda used a mixture of blond red shades with a base of that provided a “shadow root” and added an additional few blonde foils. She usually has to go 5 months between hair services so Amanda did what she could to maximize her time transition in between. She trimmed it and layered it up to take some of that weight off, and framed her face with a long swoop bang.

Makeup by April Linex
Because of her beautiful warm chestnut hair and blue eyes, April used the colors of a Texas sunset. Warm amber and bright violet and orchid on eyes and finished with a violet lip.
