Adkins Student Artwork to be Hung in State Capitol

Lauren Davis, a second grader at Adkins Elementary, has been selected to have her artwork displayed in Austin as part of the Texas Art Education Association’s Youth Art Month Capitol Celebration. Her Scarecrow was selected to hang in the State Capitol building as well as the Bob Bullock Museum. She was also selected by the First Lady Cecilia Abbott as one of the 10 artworks chosen to hang in the Governor’s business office for the year.
